NBP Funds Mobile App FAQs

Online Account Opening (Sahulat Sarmayakari)

  • Select ‘Join Now’ option on login screen of NBP Funds Mobile App and select ‘New Investor’ option.
  • Select ID Type and enter your CNIC / NICOP number.
  • Select Mobile Operator, enter your mobile phone number and email address.
  • Select ‘Send OTP’ and enter 2 OTPs sent separately on provided email address and mobile number.
  • Once OTPs are verified, enter personal, contact and Bank Account details on ‘Basic Information’ screen.
  • Accept terms and conditions after carefully reading them and select ‘Next’.
  • Complete your Risk Return Profile on the ‘Risk Return Profiling’ screen and click Next. (Optional)
  • Select Your NBP Funds Debit Card on ‘Debit Card and E-Banking’ Screen and click ‘Next’. (Optional)
  • Select the Pension Account Type (Conventional or Islamic) and enter your Retirement Age or Date. (Optional)
  • Review/ Edit the entered details and click ‘Next’.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the front and back side of your CNIC and other documents, if required on the ‘Documents’ screen and select ’Submit’ option to submit your ‘Sahulat Sarmayakari Account Opening’ request.
  • After successful submission, your account opening request for Sahulat Sarmayakari Mutual Fund Account and Sahulat Sarmayakari Pension Fund Account (if opted) will be sent for verification and you will receive confirmation email and SMS on the provided email address and mobile number.
  • Once your online account opening request is verified, a confirmation email and SMS will be sent on the provided email address and mobile number along with a link to register on NBP Funds Digital.
  • Open the link provided in the confirmation email, enter and check availability of customized username.
  • Enter password and transaction code as per the policies.
  • Submit the details and accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it.
  • 2 OTPs are automatically sent separately on registered email address and mobile number.
  • Enter the 2 OTPs and confirm registration.

Only following individuals are eligible to open online account in NBP Funds:

  • Pakistani national
  • Individual who is not an existing single/joint account holder in NBP Funds
  • Individual of age 18 or above

• E-Banking Limits

NBP Funds Online Services is subject to an aggregate single day drawing limit of an amount equivalent to lower of 60% of investment balance in NBP Funds or as in below table

  • Login to NBP Funds Mobile App and select Upgrade Your Account option.
  • In Basic Information Screen, enter personal details such as Marital Status, Education, Annual Income, Permanent Address, Zakat Exemption Status.
  • Enter ‘Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Know Your Customer (KYC)’ details on respective screens and select ’Next’ option after filling detail on each screen.
  • View / Update your Risk Return Profile on the ‘Risk Return Profiling’ screen and click Next.
  • View your Risk Return Profile Result and the recommended funds for investment then select ‘Next’.
  • Select Your NBP Funds Debit Card through ‘Debit Card and E-Banking’ Screen if not opted at the time of Sahulat Sarmayakari Account Opening Request. (Optional)
  • If you have also opened Sahulat Sarmayakari Pension Fund Account, complete your Pension Fund Risk Profiling and choose your VPS Allocation Scheme and select Next.
  • View and accept terms and conditions after carefully reading them on ‘Terms & Conditions’ screen and select ‘Next’.
  • Review/ Edit the entered details and click ‘Next’.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the front and back side of your CNIC and other documents such as proof of income, picture of signature, zakat exemption form etc. in the ‘Documents’ screen and select ’Next’.
  • 2 separate OTPs will be sent on your provided mobile number and email address.
  • Enter the 2 OTPs received and select ‘Submit’ option to submit your ‘Online Account Upgrade’ request.
  • After successful submission, your account upgrade request will be sent for verification and you will receive confirmation email and SMS on the provided email address and mobile number.
  • Upon successful verification of your details, your Sahulat Sarmayakari Mutual Fund Account and Sahulat Sarmayakari Pension Fund Account, if opened, will be upgraded to Regular Mutual Fund Account and Regular Pension Fund Account and you will be notified through SMS and Email within 3 working days.

Registration

  • Select Join Now from the main screen of Mobile App.
  • Select Register Now to open the Online Registration form.
  • Enter details provided at the time of account opening.
  • Once details are verified, enter and check availability of customized username.
  • Enter password and transaction code as per the policies.
  • Submit the details and select desired option on the ‘Link Accounts’ facility.
  • Accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it.
  • Enter the 2 OTPs and confirm registration.
  • After successful confirmation, your ‘NBP Funds Digital’ account is created and confirmation email and SMS are sent on the registered email address and mobile number.

E-Banking Services

  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘Account Settings’ from Menu bar.
  • Select the ‘E-Banking Activation Form’.
  • Select Activate Now of the desired account.
  • Enter Debit Card number and other details.
  • Validate details by selecting the ‘Validate’ button.
  • Once details are validated, OTP will be sent on your registered email address and mobile number.
  • Enter OTP and select ‘Submit’.
  • E-Banking is activated.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select E-Banking from Menu bar or the E-Banking icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Read the e-banking services and Select Ok to proceed
  • Select relevant account and beneficiary from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter amount, accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it, and select ‘Proceed’.
  • Review details, enter transaction code and select ‘Transfer’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select E-Banking from Menu bar or the E-Banking icon on the bottom of screen.
    • Select ‘Bill Payment’.
  • Select bill category and bill company.
  • Select account and bill payee details from the dropdown menu.
  • Select ‘Proceed’ button.
  • Review details, enter transaction code and select ‘Pay’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select E-Banking from Menu bar or the E-Banking icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Select ‘Mobile Recharge’.
  • Select mobile company and account.
  • Select ‘Instant Recharge’ to transfer amount to an unregistered number OR
  • Select ‘Registered Number’ to transfer amount to a registered mobile number.
  • Select amount from the dropdown menu and select ‘Proceed’.
  • Review your details, enter transaction code and select ‘Pay’.

E-Transaction Services

  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘E-Transaction’ from Menu bar or the ‘E-Transaction’ icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Read the e-banking services and Select Ok to proceed
  • Select ‘Fund to Fund Transfer’.
  • Select relevant account and fund names from the dropdown menu and enter amount/units.
  • Select ‘‘Proceed’ button, a confirmation screen will be displayed.
  • Accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it.
  • Review your details, enter transaction code and select ‘Confirm’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘E-Transaction’ from Menu bar or the ‘E-Transaction’ icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Read the e-banking services and Select Ok to proceed
  • Select ‘Swift Pay’.
  • Select relevant account and fund name from the dropdown menu, check your transaction limit.
  • Enter amount and select ‘Proceed’.
  • A confirmation screen will be displayed.
  • Accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it
  • Review your details, enter transaction code and select ‘Transfer’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘E-Transaction’ from Menu bar or the ‘E-Transaction’ icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Select ‘Normal Redemption’.
  • Select relevant account and fund name from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter amount/ units.
  • Select the mode of payment and select ‘Proceed’.
  • A confirmation screen will be displayed.
  • Check the Normal Redemption transaction details.
  • Accept terms and conditions after carefully reading it
  • Enter transaction code and select ‘Transfer’.

Account Statement

  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select Account Statement from the Menu Bar or the Account Statement icon on bottom of screen.
  • Select account and fund name from the dropdown menu.
  • Select period and then ‘View Now’ option.
  • To receive account statement on registered Email, select ‘Request on Email’ option.

Beneficiary Management

  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘E-Banking’ option from the menu bar or E-Banking icon on the bottom of screen.
  • Select ‘Manage Beneficiary’ and then ‘Add Beneficiary’.
  • Select the relevant tab for adding beneficiary from ‘Add Bank’, ‘Register Bill’ and ‘Register Mobile Number’.

Add Bank

  • Select bank name from dropdown and enter IBAN.
  • Select ‘Validate’ button.
  • Once details are validated, account title and branch details will be fetched automatically.
  • Enter nickname, mobile number (optional) and email address (optional).
  • Enter transaction code and save.

Register Bill

  • Select bill category and bill company from the drop down.
  • Enter consumer number, nickname and validate details.
  • Once the details are validated, consumer name will be fetched automatically.
  • Enter transaction code and save.

Register Mobile Number

  • Select mobile company.
  • Enter mobile number, nickname and validate details.
  • Once details are validated, enter transaction code and save.

Account Settings

  • Select ‘Forgot Username/Password’ from ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’ login page.
  • Select ‘Forgot Password’ tab.
  • Enter username, CNIC / NICOP number, date of birth and select ‘Continue’.
  • 2 separate OTPs will be sent on your registered email address and mobile number.
  • Enter and confirm New Password.
  • Enter OTPs in the relevant fields and select ‘Submit’.
  • Select ‘Forgot Username/Password’ from ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’ login page.
  • Select ‘Forgot Username’ option.
  • Enter account, CNIC/ NICOP number, date of birth and select ‘Continue’.
  • OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter OTP and select ‘Submit’.
  • Once submitted, the username will be sent on your registered email address.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘Account Settings’ option from the menu bar and select ‘Change Password’.
  • Enter Old Password and New Password and Confirm Password.
  • Select ‘Change’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘Account Settings’ option from the menu bar and select ‘Change Transaction Code’.
  • Enter old Transaction code and new Transaction code and confirm Transaction code.
  • Select ‘Change’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘Account Settings’ option from the menu bar and select ‘Change Transaction Code’.
  • In ‘Account Settings’, select ‘Change Transaction Code’.
  • Select ‘Forgot/Set’ option bottom right to the old Transaction code field.
  • Enter CNIC / NICOP number, date of birth and select ‘Continue’.
  • 2 separate OTPs will be sent on your registered email address and mobile number.
  • Enter OTPs in the relevant fields and select ‘Submit’.
  • Log in to ‘NBP Funds Mobile App’.
  • Select ‘Account Settings’ option from the menu bar and select ‘Link Accounts’.
  • To mark an account as Primary Account, select ‘Yes’ option.
  • Select ‘Send/Resend OTP’ to receive OTP on your registered mobile number and email address.
  • Enter the OTPs and select ‘Submit’.

Two methods of online investment are available for our investors;

  • Invest through Bill Generation
  • Invest through Bank Transfer (only for regular investors)

The following limits are applicable on E-Transactions.

Online Investment Procedure

  • To invest online, register on NBP Funds Digital portal through our online registration process defined above.
  • Log in using your customized log in credentials.
  • Select “Invest Now” option below the left menu.
  • On the Invest Now home page, select your desired account type from Mutual Funds, Islamic Saving Plans and Pension Funds.
  • Select your payment method, enter details and invest online.

1) Investment Booking

  • Log in using your customized log in credentials.
  • Select “Invest through Bill Generation” option from Invest Online option the main menu.
  • On the ‘Invest through Bill Generation’ page, select ‘Book your Investment’ option
  • Select the account and fund (where available) from dropdowns in which you wish to invest.
  • Review the risk profile of the selected fund
  • Enter investment amount (Minimum Rs. 1000).
  • Select your payment channel for investment (KuickPay / 1Bill) and select ‘Proceed’ button.
  • Review investment details and accept declaration and terms & conditions.
  • Generate bill number for the selected account.
  • Once the bill number is generated, select ‘Book My Investment’.
  • Once investment is booked, it is reflected in ‘Pending Bills’ section for 48 hours.

2) Payment of Booked Investments

Investment via 1Bill Channel

  • Log in to your banking portal / bank’s mobile app.
  • Select Bill Payment option and then select Add New Biller
  • Select 1Bill against Bill Category and Invoice / Voucher Payment option against Biller Type / Name.
  • • Enter your Unique Bill Number as “106273XXXXXXX” in Consumer / Voucher # field and Click Add / Save option
  • Enter OTP to complete biller registration
  • Select Pay Bill option
  • Select 1Bill option from Bill Category and select your newly added 1Bill voucher number.
  • Verify details and Select Confirm / Pay option to complete payment.
  • Once the Payment is successful, your investment will be displayed in the ‘Investment History’.
  • Payment via KuickPay Channel

  • Log in to your banking portal / bank’s mobile app.
  • Select Bill Payment option and then select Add New Biller.
  • Select Aggregator option against Bill Category and KuickPay option against Biller Name.
  • Enter your Unique Bill Number in Consumer / Voucher # field and Click Add / Save option
  • Enter OTP to complete biller registration
  • Select Pay Bill option
  • Select KuickPay Bill option against Bill Name option.
  • Verify details and Select Confirm / Pay option to complete payment.
  • Once the Payment is successful, your investment will be displayed in the ‘Investment History’.

Fund IBAN Generation

  • Log in using your customized log in credentials.
  • Select “Invest through IBFT / RAAST” option from Invest Online section in main menu.
  • In ‘Investment Details’ screen, select ‘Generate New IBAN’ option
  • Select the account and fund (where available) in which you wish to invest from dropdowns.
  • Review the risk profile of the selected fund
  • Accept declaration, terms & conditions and select ‘Confirm’.
  • Once ‘Confirm’ is selected, unique Fund IBAN for selected will be generated.
  • Select ‘OK’ and proceed to transfer funds.
  • The Fund IBAN generated for each fund will be displayed in a table displayed in Investment Details screen.

Funds transfer against Fund IBAN

  • Log in to your banking portal / bank’s mobile app.
  • Select Add Beneficiary and Select NBP Funds against Bank Name.
  • Add the Fund IBAN as beneficiary.
  • Transfer amount which you wish to invest against the Fund IBAN (as per respective bank’s applicable fund transfer limits).
  • Once the transfer is successful, your investment will be displayed in the ‘Investment History’.

RAAST ID Generation

  • Log in using your customized log in credentials.
  • Select “Invest through IBFT / RAAST” option from Invest Online section in main menu.
  • In ‘Investment Details’ screen, select ‘Generate New IBAN’ option
  • Select the account and fund (where available) in which you wish to invest from dropdowns.
  • Review the risk profile of the selected fund
  • Accept declaration, terms & conditions and select ‘Confirm’.
  • Once ‘Confirm’ is selected, unique RAAST ID for selected will be generated.
  • Select ‘OK’ and proceed to transfer funds.
  • The RAAST ID generated for each fund will be displayed in a table displayed in Investment Details screen.

Funds transfer against RAAST ID

  • Log in to your banking portal / bank’s mobile app.
  • Select RAAST Payment / Transfer option.
  • Enter the generated RAAST ID against RAAST ID / IBAN No. option to add your RAAST ID as beneficiary.
  • Transfer amount which you wish to invest against the RAAST ID (as per respective bank’s applicable fund transfer limits).
  • Once the transfer is successful, your investment will be displayed in the ‘Investment History’.
